The children’s school reports were sent home today. I hope you enjoy reading about all of the fantastic progress the children have been making this year. If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further, please do not hesitate to contact me — I am always happy to arrange a conversation.
Next Thursday we will be celebrating World Book Day in school. We are very excited to welcome a visiting poet, who will be working with the children during the day to inspire creativity and a love of reading and writing. Children are also invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Costumes do not need to be elaborate — simple, creative ideas are absolutely welcome. We are looking forward to a fun day celebrating books, stories and imagination!

Half Termly Project – Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies
Our focus this half term continues to be preparing for our production of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies. Please support your child in learning their lines, songs and dances so that we are fully prepared for rehearsals and performances.
Performance dates are:
-
Wednesday 25th March (afternoon performance)
-
Thursday 26th March (evening performance)
If your child is unable to attend either performance, please let me know as soon as possible, as this has a significant impact on staging and organisation.
Earlier this month, I posted a blog update about costumes for Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies to give you an idea of the style of clothing each character might wear. Please note that these suggestions are not strict and can be interpreted in your own way - costumes do not need to look exactly the same. Costumes can be made at home or bought, depending on what is easiest for you.
If you are unable to source a costume for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible and we can work together to find an alternative. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your continued support!
