Happy Friday all!  I cannot believe it is half term - there's only 7 weeks left of Year 5 when we come back to school. There's lots to learn so I hope you have a good rest and come back ready to hit the ground running!   Lincolnsfield Children’s Centre 4th-6th June 2025 Staff Attending: Miss Davis Mrs Reynolds Miss Weller Mrs Meadows (day visitor only) Accommodation: All children will stay together in a single unit, with separate sides for boys and girls. Dormitory-style rooms will be allocated on the day of arrival. Each child will need to make their own bed (bedding is provided), and there is a common room for relaxation. What to Pack: A full kit list will be provided. Please ensure your child: - Does not bring electronics, aerosol cans or cameras. - Packs with your support so they know what they have and where to find it. - Has clothing suitable for the weather (please check the forecast before we leave). Hello all,  I hope you're all well and are enjoying the sunshine. I can't believe we are heading into the final week in this half term.  This Wednesday is open afternoon and I hope you can join us. Friday morning is the Oakmere Mini-Marathon - please ensure your child has their PE kit that day and a bottle of water.  Thank you to those who came to the Lincolnsfield meeting this week. Hello all,  We’ve been making the most of the sunshine and our very own school swimming pool. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their daily swimming sessions—there’s been so much enthusiasm, progress, and plenty of smiles along the way! It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow in the water, and we’re incredibly proud of how hard they’ve worked. On dry land, we’re just as thrilled to report that all the children have successfully completed their Bikeability training! With helmets fastened and handlebars steady, they tackled the challenges brilliantly, demonstrating excellent road awareness, bike control, and a great sense of responsibility. Every single pupil passed with flying colours—what an achievement! Next week we are trying to give the children some PE sessions. Please can the children have their kits in on Tuesday and Friday.  The children will continue their swimming lessons during school time.
