Year 5 at Little Heath

Happy Friday all - just one more week to go. Time really does fly and it's mind-blowing to consider we are two-thirds of the way though Year 5.  This week has been full of excitement as we continue preparing for our upcoming production of Robin & The Sherwood Hoodies ! The children have been working incredibly hard to learn their lines, songs and dances, and we are really looking forward to sharing it with you. Our performances will take place on: Wednesday, 1:30pm Thursday, 6:30pm I do expect all children to be in attendance for both performances. If your child is unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible so we can make any necessary arrangements. We would also love to invite you to our Open Afternoon next Wednesday at 3:00pm , where you will have the opportunity to come into the classroom and share your child’s learning with them.   Happy Friday all,  There is not CGP homework this week. Please focus on spellings, reading, Sumdog (1hr) and preparation for Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies. Happy Friday all,  This week we have begun our rehearsals for Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies! It's crazy to think our performance is only in 3 weeks. Please make sure you are learning your lines and songs at home. If your child cannot attend any of our performances - please contact me ASAP.  I am really looking forward to next week as it is Science Week at Little Heath and we will be taking part in a science workshop! Homework  CGP Books (Maths and English):  TWO  pieces per week.  Maths -  p ages 38-39 & Comprehension pages 28-29.
