 Happy Friday all!

Quiz Night Saturday 9th May

Get your thinking caps ready for our PTA Quiz Night on Saturday 9th May 2026! It promises to be a fantastic evening of fun, laughter and a little bit of healthy rivalry. I will be taking on the very important role of Quiz Master. It would be brilliant to see as many of you there as possible—whether you're in it to win it or just in it for the laughs!

Legoland (Monday)

We are very excited about our upcoming STEM trip to Legoland Windsor on Monday! This will be a fantastic opportunity for the children to engage in hands-on learning and experience STEM in a fun and interactive environment.

A few important reminders for the day:

  • The coach will be leaving promptly at 8:30 am on Monday. Please ensure your child arrives with plenty of time so we can depart on schedule.

  • Children should wear their own clothing, suitable for the weather on the day, along with sensible footwear for lots of walking.

  • Please send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle in a bag they can carry comfortably throughout the day.

  • No money should be brought on the trip, as there will be no opportunities for spending.

We expect to return early evening. We are looking forward to a fantastic day of STEM learning and fun! If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

Half Term Project - Developing Confident Presenters -  Due Monday 18th May

This half term, I would like to focus on helping the children enhance their presenting skills. To achieve this, I would like them to create a short presentation—whether it’s a PowerPoint or another format—on a topic they’re passionate about. The goal is for them to speak confidently to the class, sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge with their peers. Our emphasis will be on their delivery, clarity, and building self-assurance when presenting to an audience. I would like EVERYONE to take part.

Spanish Day (Thursday)

We are really excited to be celebrating Spanish Day in school on Thursday 23rd April!

Throughout the day, the children will be taking part in a range of fun, cultural activities. Each class will enjoy a flamenco workshop, giving them the opportunity to experience traditional Spanish dance and music.

Children are invited to come to school wearing Spanish colours (red and yellow) or Spanish-themed clothing.

There will also be a special Spanish lunch menu available on the day.

It should be a fantastic day full of music, creativity and cultural learning — we’re really looking forward to it.
